Rubbish removal for Mooloolaba units and homes
Mooloolaba is a suburb of beachside units, with houses and townhouses on the streets behind. That shapes the rubbish jobs we do here. Since January 2024 we have done more than 140 jobs in Mooloolaba, and more than 70 of them were rubbish runs: a lot of lifts, basement car parks and furniture carried out of apartments.

In a unit block, the pile price applies when everything is already down in the garage or car space. If it is still upstairs in the unit, it is a collection. Green waste is charged on the same scale. Saturday jobs are 1.5 times the weekday price and done by the truck crew, and we do not do rubbish removal on Sundays. See all rates on our prices page.
Where it goes, and what the tip costs
Mooloolaba loads go to the Buderim Transfer Station on Syd Lingard Drive. We pay the weighbridge and pass the charge on to you exactly, with no markup. Because tip charges depend on weight and waste type and change from time to time, we bill from the docket instead of quoting a fixed tip amount. The tip fees guide has the detail.
Lifts, car parks and loading zones
Unit jobs go smoothly when we know a few things before we arrive. Tell us when you book:
- Which floor the unit is on, and whether there is a lift big enough for a couch.
- Where we can park the ute, and the height of any basement car park.
- Whether the building needs a lift booked or a key fob for the loading area.
- Anything large that may need two people, like a heavy lounge or a fridge.
Those answers decide whether one person or two is the better price, and they keep the job moving once we are there. If the building has rules about when furniture can be moved through the lobby, let us know and we will book a time that fits.
What we take from Mooloolaba homes
Across all our jobs, the same items come up most: beds and mattresses, dining tables and chairs, fridges, washing machines and dryers, couches, TVs and boxes. Mooloolaba is no different. End of lease and moving out
We have done more than 55 moves from Mooloolaba since 2024, and most of them went to Maroochydore or to another address in Mooloolaba. Getting a unit ready for us
Unit jobs are quickest when the path is clear. Before we arrive:
- Book the lift with building management if your building asks for it.
- Bag up loose items such as linen, kitchenware and small clutter.
- Keep anything you are keeping in a separate room, away from the rubbish.
- Let us know about narrow doorways or a tight turn at the top of the stairs.
If you can bring everything down to your car space yourself, tell us. It turns a collection into a pile, and the service fee drops from $189 to $139 for a full ute load. If you would rather not carry anything, that is what the collection price is for. We confirm the service fee with you on the day before we load, and you pay once the unit is clear.
