Clearing a house is rarely just a rubbish job
A house clearout usually happens at a hard moment. A parent has passed away and the family home needs emptying. A lease is ending and the last of the furniture won't fit in the car. Someone has been collecting for years and it's time to get the house back. We do this work across the Sunshine Coast, and we try to make it the easy part of a difficult week.
We're a local business based in Coolum Beach, working the Coast since 2023 with two utes and an Isuzu truck. Across more than 6,300 jobs since January 2024, a lot of what we carry comes out of houses being emptied: beds and mattresses, dining tables and chairs, fridges, washing machines, couches and boxes.
The clearouts we do
Deceased estate clearouts
Families often need an estate cleared on a timeline set by a sale or a lease, and sometimes from out of town. Before we start, tell us what stays. Some families mark the keep items with tape or move them into one room; others walk through with the crew on the day. We only take what you've told us to take. If some furniture is going to a family member rather than the tip, we can move that on the same booking as a furniture move.
Whole house clearouts
Selling, downsizing into a unit, or moving interstate and not taking much? We clear the rooms you point to, from the bedrooms and kitchen through to the laundry and garage. If the yard needs doing too, see green waste removal, and for a packed shed see garage cleanouts.
End of lease clean-ups
Tenants and property managers call us when the last few things need to go before the inspection: a broken couch, a mattress, a pile of bags in the carport, a washing machine that nobody wants. A single item is $109, and a full ute load starts from $139 if it's in a pile.
Hoarder-style cleanouts
Some houses have more in them than anyone can face sorting alone. We work through it with you, room by room, without judgement and without rushing decisions about what matters to you. Big properties may take more than one visit or the truck, and we'll talk through how to stage it when we quote.
How clearouts are priced
We price by the ute load, plus the tip fee at cost. For larger clearouts we bring the Isuzu truck and quote the job as a whole. We'll give you a price after seeing photos of each room, or after taking a look at the property, so you know where you stand before we start.

All prices are inc GST, plus the tip fee at cost. The tip fee is exactly what the transfer station charges for your load, with no markup, and it depends on what's in it. You pay on completion. There are no fuel or booking fees. Saturdays are worked by our truck crew on the Sunshine Coast at weekday prices x1.5, and we don't do rubbish removal on Sundays. How a clearout works
- Send photos. One or two of each room, the garage and the yard. Note anything heavy or upstairs.
- Tell us what stays. Mark keep items, or move them to one room, so nothing goes by mistake.
- Get a price. We quote the loads or the truck, and agree a day that suits.
- We load and tip. The crew carries everything out and takes it to the nearest transfer station.
- Pay when it's done. You pay once the job is finished.
Sorting before we arrive
If there are good pieces the family doesn't want, it's worth offering them to relatives, friends or a local op shop before clearout day, while there's still time to arrange it. Whatever is left on the day, we load. If you're not sure where to start, send the photos anyway and we'll help you work out how many loads it is, and whether the ute or the truck is the better fit.
Where it goes
Loads go to the transfer station nearest the property: Buderim Transfer Station on Syd Lingard Drive, Caloundra Transfer Station on Pierce Avenue, Nambour Transfer Station on Cooney Road, Noosa Transfer Station on Eumundi Noosa Road at Doonan, or the Beerwah Resource Recovery Centre on Roberts Road. For estates in Brisbane north around North Lakes we use Dakabin, Caboolture or Redcliffe.
A few practical things
Take out anything valuable or personal before we arrive: paperwork, photos, jewellery, keys and anything you might want later. Tell us about access, like a steep driveway, stairs, or no parking out front, because it changes how long the job takes.
Single items can be cheaper on their own. See mattress removal and fridge and whitegoods removal. If some of the contents are moving to a new home, our house moves crew can do that part.
