How our pricing works
We keep pricing simple so you can work out roughly what a job costs before you even call. Moves are priced by the hour, with a minimum charge, and we estimate the time before we book. Rubbish removal is a fixed service fee by the item or the ute load, plus the tip fee at cost. Every price on this page includes GST. You pay on completion, and there are no fuel or booking fees.
Furniture moves
For anything from one couch to a few rooms of furniture. We estimate the loading time, the drive and the unloading time from what you're moving and the access at each end.

Rubbish and junk removal
A service fee for the crew and the ute, plus the tip fee at cost. "In a pile" means everything is together in one spot, ready to load. "Collected" means we gather it from around the property.

Green waste
Green waste is priced the same way as rubbish removal: the same single item and ute load prices, one person or two, in a pile or collected, plus the tip fee at cost. Palm fronds, branches and garden clippings all count. See green waste removal.
Tip fees, at cost
When a load goes to the tip, the transfer station charges a fee based on what's in it. We pass that fee on at cost, with no markup. We don't publish fixed tip figures because each facility sets its own charges and they change. Our Sunshine Coast tip fees guide explains how they work.
Extra time
If a job runs past the estimate, extra time is charged in 15-minute blocks:

Saturdays and Sundays
- Saturdays: weekday prices x1.5. Saturday jobs are done by our truck crew only, on the Sunshine Coast only.
- Sundays: no rubbish or junk removal.

How we estimate a move
For furniture and house moves, the price comes from three parts of the job: loading, the drive, and unloading. Loading and unloading depend on how much there is and the access at each end, like stairs, a lift, a steep driveway or a long walk from where we can park. The drive is the distance between the two addresses. Tell us about all of that when you book and we'll give you a time estimate before we start, so the total doesn't come as a surprise.
Ways to keep the price down
- Pile it up. For rubbish, having everything in one spot drops a ute load from $189 to $139.
- Help lift. If you can take one end, one removalist at $104 an hour is often enough instead of two at $207.
- Get it ready. Pack boxes, empty drawers and filing cabinets, and take beds apart before we arrive.
- Clear the path. A clear hallway and a parking spot close to the door shorten the carry.
- Combine jobs. Moving and dumping on the same day can be one booking instead of two.
Which price fits your job?
If you're moving something to a new home, look at the furniture move or single item rates. If it's going to the tip, look at rubbish removal. If you're not sure, or it's a bit of both, like moving house and dumping the old couch, tell us what you've got and we'll price it the cheapest way. We run two utes and an Isuzu truck, so the job gets the vehicle it needs and you don't pay for a truck to carry one armchair.
